Ican Abraham is a band from Los Angeles that makes a textually rich style of nonthreatening indie rock. Formed in 2009, the group managed to build a solid reputation during its formative years with songs that highlight the band's ability to create pastorally bucolic sonic tapestries that evoke images of the sun dissipating into the mighty Pacific. The group's unabashed fondness of late 2000s indie rock is blatantly on display off its debut 2012 single, "Springhouse," a song with defined tonal richness and impressive melodic harmonies.
