Yaşar is a Turkish folk artist who rose to attention with his first album, Divane. After that he released two more albums Esirinim and Masal, he had completed the trilogy he says he always wanted to make. In his 4th album Sevdiğim Şarkılar, he covered the Middle Eastern classics that inspired him and then released his 5th album Hatırla and his 2006 album Sevda Sinemalarda.
