Born Hüseyin Yalın but dropping his first name when he performs, Yalin is a Turkish pop star that first landed in the spotlight in 2004. Introduced to music as a child when his father would play him songs by the Gipsy Kings on his guitar, Yalin studied music throughout his youth, eventually deciding against an economics profession in favor of pursuing a music career. Yalin's debut album was released to positive acclaim and his humble personality won over fans across Turkey.
