Vassendgutane is a Norwegian country and danseband formed in Ørsta in 1996, known for their unique 'party-country' genre. They initially gained attention with their 2000 album Pylse og Konjakk, which featured songs by Teddy Nelson and Ivar Medaas. Their 2002 album Gi Clutch marked a shift to self-written material, propelling them to regional fame. They achieved national success with their 2008 album XO, which topped the VG-lista chart. Subsequent albums, including Riskrem og Entrekått (2011) and Festi e'kje Slutt (2012), further cemented their popularity. Vassendgutane has sold over 300,000 albums, with all their releases earning Gold or Platinum certifications in Norway. Their discography includes notable albums such as Hesteslepp (2013) and Skru Opp!! (2015), and singles like "Køyr mej heimatt" and "Kongen av Norge." They also released DVDs capturing live performances.
