Based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan (by way of Orlando, Florida), Sleeping with Sirens became a significant name in the post hardcore scene in meteoric fashion. The band formed in 2009 to begin writing loud and brash songs full of screamo's angst-ridden intensity and enough melodic sense to maintain an appeal that extends beyond any sort of niche genre fan-base. Sleeping with Sirens' first album, 2010's With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear, debuted at #36 on the Billboard Top Independent Album chart and instantly established the group as a significant up-and-coming post hardcore act.
