Junior H, born Juan Carlos Hernández in Guanajuato, Mexico, is a key figure in the corridos tumbados genre, blending traditional Mexican corridos with modern urban sounds. Gaining prominence in the early 2020s, he made a splash with his 2020 album Atrapado en un Sueño, which featured hits like "Mente Positiva" and "Jueves 10." On February 12, 2021, Junior H released $ad Boyz 4 Life, which topped Apple Music’s Latin Albums chart with tracks such as "La Bestia" and "Lamento Boliviano." His seventh album, Mi Vida en un Cigarro 2, came out on February 11, 2022. In November 2022, he released Contingente, his first Latin trap album, featuring collaborations with Alemán, Big Soto, and others.
