About
The German club, HSV Hamburg is always a force to be reckoned with in the Handball-Bundesliga. The team was founded in 1999 after the unification of clubs VfL Bad Schwartau and HSV Lübeck. In 2011 the club made history when it won its first ever Handball-Bundesliga championship. Two years later it tasted continental success for the first time when it claimed the EHF Champions League gold.
