The music of Israeli-born composer-trumpeter Avishai Cohen has, through the years, incorporated numerous sub-genres of jazz music and improvised elements. An avant-garde musician, he has earned acclaim for his artistry over the course of his decades-long career, beautifully displayed in his body of work that includes the albums Seven, Introducing Triveni, Dark Nights, Cross My Palm with Silver and Big Vicious. His songs - "Naked Truth (Pt. 7)," "Kofifi Blue," "Honey Fountain," "Hidden Chamber" and "Life and Death," to name a few, have been especially well-received by his audience.
