Light this City is a melodic death metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area that was founded in 2002. Building a name for itself with a sound that highlights the aggressive vocal approach of front-woman Laura Nichol, Light this City managed to distinguish itself on the Bay Area live music circuit before releasing its debut album, The Hero Cycle, in 2003.
