Thaís Dayane da Silva, born May 7, 1993, and known professionally as MC Tha, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter celebrated for her unique blend of musical influences. Growing up in the Tiradentes neighborhood of São Paulo, she was exposed to a diverse range of rhythms, including samba, pagode, and country music at home, and forró and brega when visiting her father. Her early love for writing poetry evolved into a musical career, marked by her debut album Rito de Passagem.
