Sara Watkins

Sara Watkins is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Vista, California who debuted in 1989 as the fiddle player for the bluegrass band Nickel Creek. After the group broke up in 2007, Watkins would go on to start a folk-centric solo career with her self titled debut LP in 2009. While also maintaining her solo endeavors with continued studio releases and a fairly busy touring schedule, Watkins has also played ukulele, guitar and percussion while touring with the baroque pop act The Decemberists.
