Silversun Pickups is an indie rock band from Los Angeles. Band members Brian Aubert, Nikki Monninger, Christoph Guanlao and Joe Lester released the debut EP, Pikul, in 2005 and the group's first album, Carnavas, followed a year later and entered the American album charts. Band members cite Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground and Elliott Smith as influences.
