Manu Delago Handmade is an experimental quartet composed of Hang percussionist Manu Delago, pianist and violinist Isa Kurz, drummer Chris Norz and bassoonist and synth master Christof Bienz. With the help of producer Matt Robertson, who is known for his work with Bjork, the group combines the delicate vocals of Kurz with other-worldly Hang accompaniment and fat electronic beats. The resulting style is surprisingly balanced, transitioning seamlessly between rhythmic madness and ethereal free-flow moments.
