ROSIE, born Rosaileen Scher in 2000 in Nyack, New York, is an American singer-songwriter known for her raw, introspective music that reflects her mental struggles. Encouraged by her parents to pursue songwriting, she attended Berklee College of Music but dropped out in 2020 to focus on her music career. During the COVID-19 pandemic, her song "Never the 1" went viral on TikTok, leading to a contract with Arista Records. ROSIE’s music stands out for its unedited, straightforward style. She released her debut EP, 20mg of Happiness, in 2021, followed by 5 Songs for Healing in 2023. She also co-wrote "Love Again" for Celine Dion, featured in the 2023 film of the same name. ROSIE's emotionally honest work has made her a rising star in the contemporary pop scene.
