About
Sam McGarrigle is a one-man act who has been creating lo-fi pop music under the moniker Gross Magic since the beginning of 2011. His early online demos were reminiscent of the indie/lo-fi pop movement of the 1990s, but Gross Magic's sound picked up rock music characteristics after McGarrigle recruited three of his friends to make up a live band. Gross Magic released the Teen Jamz EP in 2011 and promoted the record with a tour that extended well into 2012.
