Vicente Garcia is a singer/songwriter from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic who was a member of the alternative rock band Calor Urbano until 2010, when he left to pursue a solo career. With a unique sound that blends a number of Latin American styles like bachata and bolero with contemporary pop songwriting structures, Garcia's 2010 debut album, Melodrama, established him as a capable force on the modern Latin American music scene.
