Jon Cougar Concentration Camp is a punk rock band from San Diego, California that has been performing on and off since its formation in 1994. With a name that's a pun on the name of famed singer/songwriter, John Cougar Mellencamp, Jon Cougar Concentration Camp performs a fast-moving, irreverent brand of punk rock that couldn't be more different than that of the significantly more commercially successful Mellencamp. Following a ten year hiatus that began in 1999 and ended in 2009, Jon Cougar Concentration Camp continues to be on top of its game, releasing albums and performing for fans of punk rock with more vigor than ever before.
