Keandrian Qynzel Jones, born September 22, 2000, in Dallas, Texas, is known professionally as Kankan. Initially starting rap as a joke, Kankan discovered his passion for music and began pursuing it seriously. He first made waves in 2017 by producing for Smokepurpp and later collaborated with Fifty Grand in 2019. Kankan released his debut album Rr on October 5, 2021, and his second studio album Way2Geeked on September 30, 2022, which peaked at No. 16 on the US Heat chart. His extensive discography includes numerous EPs like Radiant (2018) and Oxy (2020), as well as mixtapes such as Kankan (2019) and B4 AMGs & SRTs (2020). Known for his innovative blend of trap and experimental sounds, Kankan continues to make a mark in the rap scene.
