The side band of Zach Rogue, front man to San Francisco band Rogue Wave, Release the Sunbird is somewhat of a solo project, but also incorporates guest appearances from numerous respected indie artists on many songs. Stripping down his Rogue Wave style into a hazy summertime indie pop record, Release the Sunbird has allowed Rogue to showcase singer/songwriter talents he hadn't yet developed with his former popular band, but have gone over well with many indie rock/pop fans.
