Mercenary

Formed in 1991 in Aalborg, Denmark, Mercenary took its name from a Slayer song lyric. Fittingly, the five-piece incorporates thrash metal Slayer influences, but melds its with its own style of melodic death metal. The result fared well with metal fans and the group quickly became a Danish favorite. While the band has changed its lineup quite a bit over the years, it has remained a band for two decades and won over substantial fan bases throughout Europe and the US.
