Josh Owens and his eponymous four-piece backing band has gained a reputation for sultry smooth soul fusion, a highly palatable amalgamation of roots reggae, funk and rock. Based out of Melbourne, the Josh Owen Band has been featured on radio stations throughout Australia and Japan, and has become a regular at a variety of festivals. Because o the group's diverse musical style, it has found an equally diverse audience, winning over fans from a Brazilian surf compilation, blues festivals and world music concerts.
