Choir of Young Believers is a Danish orchestral pop and folk project based in Copenhagen. Led by Jannis Noya Makrigiannis, the group owns a style that's based around delicate and melancholic arrangements full of emotive strings, classical instrumentation and Makrigiannis's own rich singing voice. In 2009, Choir of Young Believers was named "Best New Act" at the Danish Music Awards, which kicked off a fortuitous period that garnered Makrigiannis strong reviews from reputable critics.
