Spiral Stairs is a indie rock band from Stockton, California that's led by Scott Kannberg. A founding member of the seminal 1990s indie rock outfit Pavement, Kannberg has managed to distinguish a unique sonic identity for himself with Spiral Stairs. Kannberg released his debut album with Spiral Stairs, The Real Feel, in 2009 and followed it up with his sophomore effort, Doris and the Daggers, in 2017.
