About
Best known as the front man of indie rock band The New Pornographers, Allan Carl Newman is a singer/songwriter and musician who started his solo project under the name A.C. Newman in 2004. His 2004 debut album The Slow Wonder, demonstrated both his indie pop and rock sensibilities, attracting fans of The New Pornographers as well as his former Vancouver-based band Zumpano with his power pop leanings. A.C. Newman released his follow up record, Get Guilty in 2009.
