Mira Calix

About

UK-based composer, singer and DJ Mira Calix has her hand in some of the UK's most forward-thinking, intersecting music. Trained as a classical composer, Calix has spent her career writing music for everyone from the London Sinfonietta, The Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Streetwise Opera. In addition to her work as a composer, she has collaborated with the experimental electronic duo Autechre where Calix sung. She has also opened as a DJ for bands like Radiohead, Plaid, and Godspeed! You Black Emperor.
