About
Asa is a Finnish rapper who gained popularity with his debut album Punainen tiili in 2001. His angry, political lyrics have since changed over the years to a more poetic and metaphorical form. Also, during the debut album his beats were typical hip hop samples but now he performs usually with a live band with the sound having gypsy and folk music influences.
