Turbostaat

Turbostaat is a punk rock band from north Germany. The band merged in 1999 from members of 3 other punk bands and released their first album Flamingo in 2001 on the independent label Schiffen. Over the years and after the release of three albums, the sound of the band progressively changed from a all-punk sound, to a more indie rock kind of style. The latest release from the band was called Das Island Manöver and came out in 2010.
