Raised in the tough neighborhood of Los Frailes in Santo Domingo, she overcame a challenging childhood, marked by her mother’s absence and her father’s imprisonment. Discovered by producer Raymi Paulus, Tokischa entered the music scene in 2018 with her debut single "Pícala," quickly gaining attention for her explicit lyrics and unapologetic persona.
