KK Cibona

KK Cibona is a Croatian basketball team that features in the country's top division - Hrvatski Telekom Premijer liga. The team was founded in 1946 and is one of the most successful clubs in the country. Its first taste of silverware came in 1969 when it claimed the erstwhile Yugoslav Cup. The club soon became one of the top teams in Yugoslavia and its dominance continued even after it moved to the Croatian league. In 2002 it made history when it won its eleventh consecutive Croatian League title. KK Cibona has also been successful on the European stage, having won back to back EuroLeague titles in 1985 and 1986 and the European Super Cup in 1987.
