Hands down, one of the greatest handball clubs in the country, CS Dinamo București boasts of records that most others can only dream of. The club was founded in 1953 and wasted little time in making its way to the top. It won its first National League title in 1959 and held on it for the next four seasons. In addition to domestic titles, the club has also been successful on the continental stage having been champions of the EHF Champions League and EHF Cup Winners' Cup.
