The(R)evolution of Steve Jobs is a Grammy Award-winning one-act opera based on the life of Steve Jobs. Chronicling the time in the business magnate's life when he dealt with his mortality, it premiered in 2017 at the Santa Fe Opera to positive reviews. The original production was co-produced by the Santa Fe Opera, Seattle Opera, San Francisco Opera, and the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. It featured Edward Parks in the titular role, with Sasha Cooke, Garrett Sorenson, Wei Wu, Jessica E. Jones, Kelly Markgraf and Mariya Kaganskaya in important roles.
