Assitan Keita is a soul singer from Mali who rose to international recognition for her 2002 album in collaboration with Marc Minelli, Electro Bamako. After the success of the record, she signed to No Format! Records and went on to drop her sophomore effort, Yelema, in 2006 followed by 2011's Gagner l'Argent Français.
