About
Darren Fitzpatrick and Cara Robinson, the two halves of the dynamic-duo Hat Fitz & Cara, grew up continents apart. While Fitz spent his childhood in the Australian countryside, listening to his father's collection of country music, Cara grew up in Belfast with the likes of Jimi Hendrix for inspiration. Both of them soon developed their own taste in music and took a liking to rock and soul music. Hat Fitz and Cara came to being after the two met at a music festival in Ireland in 2008. Despite different tastes and backgrounds, the duo's mix of blues, soul and gospel has managed to strike a balance which is sorely missed in modern music.
