Dragged Into Sunlight is an extreme metal outfit that pulls the most brutal elements of doom, sludge, black and death metal into one sound. The four piece outfit conceals the identities of its members, who all wear balaclavas on stage, adding to the uneasy mystique surrounding the band. Dragged into Sunlight released its debut album, Hatred for Mankind, on Prosthetic Records in 2009, establishing its signature themes of isolation, depression and violence that would go on to color its subsequent records, such as 2012's Widowmaker.
