About

dOP is the electronic music project of French producers and musicians Damian Van de Sande, Clement Zemstov and Jonathan Illel. Based in Paris, the three artists teamed up in the late 2000s and quickly released a handful of singles and EPs, including 2010's 3 Suitcases, with a techno house sound. Determined to stand out in a scene dominated by computers and pre-recorded templates, the trio pushed passed the traditional sound of French house by adding in live percussion and woodwind instrumentation and fully utilizing vocals to creates an experimental sound that still manages to find a place in the European dance music scene.
