Nisse Thorbjorn or "Copenhagen Slim," as he prefers to be called is a Danish artist that prefers the music of the American South to that of his own country. Drawing on Americana and southern soul, but mostly on classic delta blues, coupled with a flawless husky Southern accent, Thorbjorn does sound like a musician born and raised in the old South. While most people wouldn't assume there's a huge market for American blues in Denmark, the country seems to be rather infatuated with the genre and so Thorbjorn is a nice addition, often asked to perform at blues parties and festivals.
