Taking cues from the classic pop of the 1960s, Rockethship is an indie pop band that crafts an infectious blend of modern and vintage pop elements. Formed in 1993, the band quickly solidified its formula of sweet melodies, ringing organ and snappy guitar riffs on its debut album, A Certain Smile, a Certain Sadness, which was released on Sumberland Records in 1996.
