Cornell Big Red is the moniker of the 36 varsity sports teams at Cornell University. Most teams compete in the NCAA Division I as part of the prestigious Ivy League. Big Red has a deep-seated rivalry with Harvard that dates back to the 1910 championship meeting of the two school's men's ice hockey teams. Cornell has taken home several championships across various sports, including women's basketball, ice hockey, lacrosse, polo and crew, and men's basketball, baseball, football, soccer and polo.
