The Celano Baggiani Group is a cross-genre band from Amsterdam. Masterminds Celano and Baggiani's music writing style fuses rock, jazz and folk music, creating a cohesive blend of playful jazz and soft, folky rock. The band is often transitions between practiced and improvised sections of music during live shows, somehow integrating the two together with beautiful melodies. The Celano Baggiani Group's first album, Figuras, was praised by critics and fans for the band's use of simple ideas and compositions to create smooth, cascading atmospheres. In 2011, the band released its fourth studio album, Alienology, a record filled with the life and engergy of swing and the freedom of improvisational jazz.
