Born to the literary genius Andrée Chedid and father to the talented singer Matthieu Chedid, is the classical singer Louis Chedid. His journey into the world of music began an at early age, Chedid was just six when he joined the catholic choir group "Manécanterie des Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois." The sound of the instruments and the melodic atmosphere of concerts kept him glued to music. He debuted in 1973 with the album Balbutiements, but he received true popularity in 1977, for his songs "T'as beau pas être beau" and "La Belle." This success propelled him into stardom and he continued to reside there by releasing commendable albums.
