Rhys Darby is a stand-up comedian from New Zealand who has built a strong reputation for his energetic physical comedy bits. Born and raised in Pakuranga, Auckland, Darby went on to attend Edgewater College. After graduating, Darby joined the New Zealand Army and served as a Morse code signaler. Upon being discharged in 1994, Darby took up comedy and has since managed to make a successful career for himself.
