Zebda

Known for its multi-genre style of music, Zebda is a seven-piece music group from Toulouse, France that formed in 1985. With a history of community organizing, the group gave life to an independent political party in 2011 with its politically driven music that covers themes of social justice, immigration and suburban life. Zebda's 1989 debut album Zebdomania, prompted the group to embark on a cross-country tour in France, Italy and the UK, inspiring its listeners to be politically active and informed. After a hiatus from 2003 to 2011, Zebda reformed and released its seventh album Second Tour, in 2012.
