Based out of Poughkeepsie, New York, That's Outrageous is a six-piece emo pop band. Mixing hardcore guitar riffs with teenage pop lyrics, the band easily found a home in this niche genre and was quickly signed by the genre's powerhouse Rise Records. With a youthful stage presence that involves constant jumping up and down and more energy than most people over the age of 19 possess, That's Outrageous definitely appeals to a certain age bracket--but this narrow appeal hasn't prevented the band from putting on highly successful tours across the US.
