About
Together, Londoners Andy Turner and Ed Handley are the electronic music duo Plaid. Both halves are former members of The Black Dog, one of the electronic musical acts that defined the intelligent dance music, or IDM, movement in the techno world. On top of remix work, Plaid has an extensive amount of original material, beginning with their 1991 debut album, Mbuki Mvuki. Plain released its ninth studio album, Scintilli, in 2011.
