Formed in 1995, EC Red Bull Salzburg is one of the most successful clubs in Austrian ice hockey. Based in Salzburg, it competes in the International Central European Hockey League (ICEHL) which is the highest tier of professional ice hockey in Central Europe. Honors won by the club most notably include the Continental Cup, European Trophy and multiple Austrian League titles. The team plays its home matches at the Eisarena Salzburg.
