Pink Mountaintops is the psychedelic folk project of Black Mountain mastermind Stephen McBean. While McBean's main project is colored with shades of indie rock and psych pop, Pink Mountaintops waves a more experimental sonic tapestry. Featuring several of the same players as Black Mountain as well as members of other neo-psychedelic bands like The Black Angels, The Warlocks and Sleepy Sun, the band dropped its self-titled debut LP with Jagjaguwar in 2004.
