Peter Doherty

Peter Doherty is a poet, singer/songwriter and musician from England who is perhaps best-known as the co-frontman of the garage rock outfit- The Libertines. As he ushered in the garage rock revival of the early 2000s with his songwriting partner Carl Barât and their band The Libertines, Doherty collaborated with various artists, such as the poet Wolfman, and also started the indie post punk band Babyshambles. After The Libertines broke up in the 2004, he turned his focus to his own material and eventually dropped his first solo album, Grace/Wastelands, in 2009.
