Danilo Rea

Danilo Rea is an Italian jazz pianist who studied at the Santa Cecilia music conservatory in Rome before going on to make his professional debut with Roberto Gatto and Enzo Pietropaoli as the Trio di Roma in 1975. Having since gone on to distinguish himself as an accomplished solo performer as well as an in-demand collaborator among the likes of Chet Baker, Phil Woods and Kenny Wheeler, Rea has build a solid reputation as one of the more respected Italian jazz pianists of his generation.
