About
Black Violettes is a band formed by four Mexican girls who play punk music. The group emerged in 2004 and is comprised of Joss Mallowe (guitar and voice), Peppers (drums), Lizz (bass), and Xcyn Distorsion (leading guitar). The group is rather political and it tends to protest about social issues and suggest possible solutions, as well as to stimulate tolerance and respect. The songs are written and composed by the four members of the group.
