Often referred to as Banda el Recodo or simply La Banda Sinaloense (The Sinaloan Band), this group is not only one of Mexico's most successful banda acts, but one of the most eclectic. It is largely considered to be one of the first banda outfits to be recorded and it was conceived by self-taught clarinet player Don Cruz Lizárraga.
